I believe the writer, Kitunyanko nim, is a Japanese fan, even though she wrote this posting in Korean. I understand most of it, but there are a few things I didn’t quite understand. So, if there are some mistakes, please bear with me. Thank you.

Is it conveyed to Bae Yong Joon nim?
There was an irritating sentence in the freeboard section of KOB.
Why are the Japanese fans still angry?
Does Bae Yong Joon nim know the truth?
We are not upset with Bae Yong Joon nim.
Do you know that?
Of course, you knew that.
Do you think we are angry because the fans got injured from the sudden strong wind?
No.
Because we don’t have faith in DA.
Why was his management company in Japan changed to DA?
Did Bae Yong Joon nim consider that the Japanese would understand their own feelings (suehan: better than Koreans)?
Is the love of the Japanese fans just as important as that of the Korean fans?
Unfortunately, they betrayed your hope.
Last year, when your condition was in bad shape, we were so worried about you that our hearts were about to burst. (sob sob)
But they only sent messages about the advertisement of the merchandise.
We showed our unhappiness about it to them, and they responded once saying that they would stop sending messages about the merchandise sales.
But, they couldn’t sympathize our hearts.
They kept doing it.
They didn’t send messages, but they renewed the site about the sales of new products as usual. They didn’t forget advertisements for visiting the site.
The itinerary of the tour was so bad.
Even worse than the kekiyas tour (suehan: cheap tour).
Even without the accident, it was torture.
The Japanese fans were upset with the itinerary that ignored common sense and the feelings of the Japanese.
But they kept saying, “The photo shoots were Bae Yong Joon nim’s idea.”
It’s different!!!
We weren’t upset that some of them couldn’t take the photos, we were upset because they’ve never cared about the grandmothers and aunties who attended the tour
If this tour wasn’t organized by the Japanese company, then we might have had to think about the differences between the culture and the philosophy, even though it’s hard for us to endure.
But, the executives of DA are Japanese.
They planned the itinerary which they wouldn’t recommend to their own grandmothers and mothers. They were the ones who released the detailed tour information when the time of the high cancellation fees approached.
It’s a shame to say that, but the Japanese don’t respect the elderly like the Koreans.
They made the elderly stand for long hours, sit on the floor, walk up and down the stairs several times, wake up early in the morning to move from place to place by bus even though they arrive late at night, and eat cold meals for breakfast and lunch.
Of course, they admit their fault in some degree.
But, if they care about us, they wouldn’t set up the plan forcing us to have patience.
I think they make us to change our mind.
I didn’t trust them for a while, but this time, I was sure that they didn’t care about Bae Yong nim’s feelings. There is someone who laughs at us, who like him but do not get in our way of liking him.
They may not be doing it intentionally, but if they unconsciously make a plan to torture the Japanese elderly like this time, then we’ll know that the executives of DA don’t respect the heart of Bae Yong Joon.
It looks like, behind Bae Yong Joon nim’s attractiveness, they’re wafting until the anger of the noisy grandmothers and aunties settles. This attitude is what makes us so upset.
We don’t have any complaints about Bae Yong Joon nim.
We always think he is a great man.
Is it okay to go this way?
We’re worried about the possibility of them ruining his future.
We are not asking anything of Bae Yong Joon nim. Will DA change?
We can’t feel any changes from them yet. So the level of anger can’t be erased because of this continuous uneasiness.
Does Bae Yong Joon nim understand how we are thinking?

Dear Bae sisters:
ReplyDeleteThis is a headline grabber and a heart breaking posting. It is sad that a tour connected to Bae Yong Joon and Winter Sonata is unorganized in this manner, without respect for senior citizens and even the disabled. Perhaps, management should appoint a more experienced event and tour organizer. This is a baptism of fire for the ambassador of tourism 2010-2012.

Dear Suehan,
ReplyDeleteIt's my first time to write to you although I have borrowed your works several times and I'd like to thank you for giving us translations such as this.
I am really shock by what had happened. It seems that DA needs serious reorganization. They can't simply organize events like this without considering health and safety. It's not fair on any parties being taken advantage. I hope this gets resolve and won't happen again.
Take care.
Regards.

Dear Suehan,
ReplyDeleteI’m shocked to know this part of the story, and it really makes my heart aching. Did YJ get to know what was happening? I hope it has not been kept back from him who is now on the very top. Many thanks go to the Japanese sister who has the courage to post this, especially in Korean, it left a possibility that YJ may see and understand it. Many thanks to you too for all your hard work.

Dear Suehan,
ReplyDeleteThanks very much for all your translations, especially this.
It's about time our man knows the details about how his fans were treated.
Hope DA will improve their attitude.
love,
Y.
